I am a retired Teacher of middle school science for 25 years. Prior to teaching, I had managed a restaurant for 4 years, worked at an accounting firm for one year and even inspected the restaurants in Corpus Christi as a Public Health Inspector. My education background includes a BBA from SWTSU (Now Texas State University) and Educator Certification (formerly CCSU) in Life/Earth Science as well as Business Administration. My Wife of 40 years just recently retired after 32 years of teaching elementary school. We have 3 children: Brian is an Educator/Coach at Flour Bluff for the past 10 years. He was promoted to Offensive Coordinator about 4 years ago. We have been avid Hornet football fans since his high school days when he played. Elizabeth, our youngest, is a Data Scientist and works remotely for HEB corporate. She received her MBA online from Ole Miss during the pandemic. She was also a Hornet Baton Twirler with the band and later at the University of Arkansas where she earned her BBA. Finally, we have our son Troy who is 31 years old. He will likely live at home for many of our remaining years as he is Autistic and non-verbal. We have learned alot from the challenges he presents. Advocating for his educational, medical and therapies when it mattered was the number one priority of my life. I am a 3rd generation Real Estate Agent as my Father and Grandfather pursued this profession later in their life after other careers. I enjoy talking to people, am detail oriented and ready to learn the ropes. My hobbies include golf, and occasional camping or fishing.
